Bad
Relationship Signs
and How to Fix Them
Unfortunately,
some of us have gone through a bad relationship (or two) in our
lives. For a lot of you, this just seems like a part of
dating.
To find that future partner you want to spend the rest of your life
with, dating is necessary to separate the good from the bad.
Finding the perfect love sometimes comes with a little hurt.
So
we've come up with some signs of a doomed relationship from
the
start in order to provide you less grief further down the road.
Bad
Relationship signs:
Moving Too
Quickly
- Be
aware of someone who moves at the speed of light when trying to win you
over.
- Moving too quickly is usually a sign that your
potential
partner is uncomfortable being alone, or is looking for someone to help
solve their problems.
Constantly
Talking
Bad about "The Ex"
- He/she
may not like their ex, but there’s no reason they should continue to
bad mouth them again and again, no matter how sour the relationship
went.
- What will they say about you if you ever have
problems?
Fresh Out of
a
Relationship
- Timing
can be everything, but when you get involved in a rebound
relationship, it may be time to move on.
- If you’ve been
through a
break-up, you know that it takes a long time to completely recover.
Still
Living at Home
- More and more adults are still living at home
these days. If
there is a good reason for it, fine.
- But
sorry guys...on average, men who still live at home after a "reasonable
age" are usually in no hurry to grow up, become independent or
financially responsible. Not always, but...
Never
Inviting You Over
- If
you have a partner that is quick to suggest hanging out at your place
but never offers up their own crib, look out.
- This could
clearly
be a sign of a concealment, and should be considered as a relationship
red flag.
So
what do
you do, if you find yourself already in a bad relationship?
- Communicate! We find that poor
communication often derails the most important relationships in a
person's life.
- Communicate even if it results in an argument.
- Choose a private place and a time when you
won't be interrupted.
- Avoid any name calling, references to past
history, and "cheap shots"
during the argument. Stick to the issue at hand.
- Listen to your partner attentively without
interruption. Pay attention
to the emotions and body language that lie behind the words.
- Take action. Do something every day that shows
you are trying to make the relationship better.
- Remember that the bond of a relationship grows
even stronger after you've survived difficult times.

relationship section here, you can find other Love Hurts topics (and how
to deal with them) in the cheating
